Conveniently located place with great aircon
Nice self catering apartment. The aircon in both rooms was really good for nice cool night's rest and definitely stronger than at some more luxury places which is great for Seychelles heat. Kitchen had everything needed to make some food. Location is short drive from jetty for boat from Mahe. Also rented a car from accomodation which was convenient to get around and big parking right next to apartment building. The place was clean and quite big and generally quiet.

It was very easy to communicate with the hotel staff and they answered all questions before the visit and during, they even booked a car for us which was very convenient. The room was also nice and had everything you need. Some of the appliances and dishes were a little dirty. However, overall a nice place to stay and close to everything.

Walkable location to the ferry, very clean and spacious. Hot water and cold AC. Wifi was stable, not enough for downloads though. Staff was so helpful. Stasia arranged for a taxi daily, gave food recommendations and even coordinated my bookings for me. Stasia was always so quick to respond. There is a cafe under the apartments and several spots nearby to walk to. I will definitely share the word.

Great place, clean, nice staff, conveniently located above a breakfast place, mini market is nearby. It may seem close to the port but it’s actually like a 20 minutes walk slightly uphill.

Great Value stay on Praslin
The Old School Self Catering is an amazing price / quality stay on the beautiful island of Praslin. It is conveniently located close to the jetty where you can take the ferry to the other islands. Moreover, the accommodation is situated above the best coffee shop on the island. The rooms are spacious and very (very!) clean. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Loved our stay at Old School! The staff are extremely extremely lovely and really go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The internet is super fast and reliable and much better than some of the bigger resorts! Accommodation has everything you could need - tea, coffee, washing machine etc. such good value for money - thank you team!

Don't go there.dirty.not by the covid rules. Bad smell.towels and linens from last guest. The soap mixed with water.to save money.....all the cleaning staff in kitchen from last guest.i talked to them and they think it is ok to use the same from last guest

The property is huge, well equipped and has amazing air conditioning. The staff in reception are very polite and helpful. When reception was closed I didnt know how to get in touch (one of the ac units stopped working on a sunday afternoon). The location is great for buses and close to the jetty, but there's not much in the immediate area. I would definitely stay there again.

The Old School was an easy spot to stay. Close to the ferry for an early morning ticket, right next to a bus stop and a cafe! We cooked in the apartment which was incredibly convenient. Loved staying and wish I could have stayed longer!

a comfortable flat ...not close to a beach
the place is comfortable, spacious ...the one thing you have to realise is that it is not near a beach and I would strongly advise future guests to hire a car ...which (unfortunately) is the best way to go around and discover the island...our hosts were very pleasant and ready to provide assistance at any time...We think the place is good value for money but once again you have to add on 4O euros per day for the hire of a car;..

Perfect for an inexpensive base to explore the island by car or public transport. The actual accommodation is superb and the staff were friendly and helpful. I could have not asked more from the property. Room 5 has a decent sea view, albeit of the local fishing harbor.
