"We enjoyed our stay in La Rochelle and the location of the hotel was ok but the room was not great. We are used to tiny rooms in France but this was really small with a micro bathroom/shower combo that would work well in a small travel trailer. Taking a shower involved shutting the water every minute to avoid inundating the room. Besides that there was the feeling that the floor in the raised level bathroom would cave in at any time. The room itself was very hard for two people to manoeuvre...

"After a long drive from Calais, a perfect place to stay in the quiet of the countryside. A warm friendly welcome, spacious rooms, an excellent restaurant, even catering for my wife, vegetarian, and myself with a dairy product allergy. We had a great meal washed down with some good very local wine. We were so relaxed, we slept in by an hour more than usual"
