Farmstay in Phang Nga Province

"A top drawer experience for us anyway, it was full but didn't look it at all, plenty of beach space all day, we never booked or waited on a table in any restaurant, or for loungers, lots of free space round the pools. Free transport to and from your villa to anywhere in the resort, we never had to call them, as they were always waiting at various pick up points ready to go, day or night. Only con I can think of is...as you are on an island the speedboat shuttle is timetabled and the last boat back to island is 3.30pm not giving you a great amount of time to enjoy stuff properly on mainland. "

"we stayed last year for 3 weeks and chose to take 3 weeks again this year. this hotel has to be one of the best hotels in this price range in the whole world. everything is sublime. the whole area is fantastically well-maintained. the staff is extremely friendly. the restaurants are international world class. tennis, squash, fitness, kids room, the beach, their farm, cycle track, the fantastically beautiful pool, the many pool areas, magnificent breakfast buffet, show in the evening. I could go on. coming again!"

"This was a beautiful resort property. The staff was wonderful. There were several restaurants on the property which was very convenient and the food was delicious! Our room was an absolute gem with all the amenities you could hope for. The view from our room was beautiful and the balcony was an added bonus. The pool was large with a bar and individual lounge areas for guests. The beach was steps away from the property and provided some of the most amazing sunsets and the firework show was so much fun to watch. Highly recommend the Grand Mecure. "

"Many areas for all to enjoy. Rooms very comfortable. Even asked to by mattress topper as it was so comfortable. Some areas need maintenance such as Aqua Zone with rust and sharp edges. Timber rotting around pool access rooms and plenty of ant's. Overall will def come back. Easy walk to shops, markets and restaurants. And cheaper than Patong region. 6 times to Thailand and Khao Lak has been the best. And Sands best resort so far "
