"The hotel is a little upside down to what I am used too as reception is at the top, but it works well! Check in was quick enough, not much chat from reception staff but they explained breakfast and what was required. The lifts are good and quick too. "As much as we enjoyed our stay ..room was dusty and foul smell from drainage in bathroom ..this was dealt with quickly ..furniture ..decor tired and outdated .. Staff were all very pleasant ..mannerable ..and worked hard Pool has been the same for years and years ..property just needs some money spent on an upgrade in order to justify the cost of rooms etc Food was delicious "

"The place is very good except the bedrooms are tired looking they need a good indepth clean also had to go for tea bag the biscuits was limited. The staff were lovely and very helpful but also didn't have a children menu lucky my grandchild eats anything, so she could have lunch. Overall we had a lovely time. Thanks "

"We were booked in to no. 9 but moved as we had been doubled booked. No. 2 Apartment described as recently refurbished - bathroom has not been updated in 20 plus years. Upon speaking to Donnini - refurbishment means a new settee and table & chairs in the kitchen! Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time! No acknowledgment from the management team in terms...

Wonderful Inn with amazing rooms & food

"Lovely large comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Great spa quality toiletries. Food in the restaurant is wonderful and the service from the staff exceptional. We didn't get to experience the breakfast properly as we had to leave before the official breakfast start time, however, the Reception staff requested the Night Porter to set up the Continental breakfast early for us so we could get something to eat before we left. This was duly done and we were so impressed that they had carried out their promise. Good onsite parking and EV charging. Fun Pub Quiz held on the last Friday of every month which is worth factoring in to your planning! But book a table in the restaurant ahead of time as it gets full due to the popularity from both guests and locals alike!"
