"When we arrived the old man at the desk had trouble finding our reservation. He did not speak any English, and my Thai is not very good. He called another woman who spoke a little bit of English and who helped him find our reservation. The hotel is older, but the room was clean enough. The beds were quite hard, and there was space between the doors, allowing mosquitos inside. The location is quite out of the way. "Run down and doesn’t look fresh like the photos. Bathroom wasn’t really clean and shower was terrible. Bed very hard but not uncommon in Thailand. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. States it has restaurant, bar and poolside bar. Doesn’t have any of these and doesn’t have a pool. Not even sure we got the room we paid for but communication wasn’t the best. "Location very good if arriving by train, easily walkable even with our 20kg back packs. Wifi is BAD logs you out every 10 mins and you have to sign in again. Room was big and bed was big and comfy. Bathroom had a bath but no tap to fill it, just a bit wierd. Swimming pool is not on hotel property, its actually next door. All in all a good place for a stop over or a couple of nights if you wanted to visit Chumphon"
