"Spacious property with an indoor pool. Never visited the town before but it was surprisingly good. Visited the market, cathedral, ruins and it was all good. "

"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

"Unfortunately my stay was not a happy one. The breakfast was a complete joke, the service was appalling and I was woken up at 11:30pm by two members of staff demanding I settle my bill the night before I was due to leave. I’ve been staying in the hotel for years as I do a track day at Folembray every July, however I’ll never be staying there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend it. "The hotel is extremely well located within the historic centre of Laon. We have stayed there on four separate occasions as we travel through France to or from the Channel Tunnel. The hotel itself is full of historic interest with a somewhat quirky charm. There is ample free parking within easy walking distance and a good choice of restaurants all within a hundred yards of the hotel door. We will be returning there soon."
