"Taj on the palm was excellent, i would stay here again. Its quiet, nice and the staff are very smiley and helpful. From the time we checked in till check out, we loved the place - the rooftop 6th floor bar was one of the highlights, amazing views of the sea & burj al arab from there. There are always taxi’s around without a wait so easy to go places. Harpreet the concierge was very nice, this chap needs a promotion & pay rise ! He was very helpful - overall great place, will stay again when i come back next year ! "

"Got there to find a building site facing our room and the started working around 7am which was very annoying.. they did swap our room to the beach side .. bear in mind this building work has just started and may go on for sometime. Quite surprised to be charged for ice to my room should be free . Breakfast very good and beach food excellent as well.. "

"We had a lovely stay and I would recommend, but for a 5* hotel the sunbeds by the pool and beach were terrible - probably the worst I’ve ever experienced and screamed cheap and tacky. Otherwise the room, buffet, staff etc were all wonderful and we had a fantastic stay. It was a shame there were so many children around screaming but this is of no fault of the hotel and parents should be warned about this behaviour being unacceptable in a 5* hotel "
