"Setting is beautiful, rooms are pretty nice. Property was attractive, peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The ocean view shade in our room cracked us up. Breakfast was okay but also disappointing due to lack of place to sit and feeling rushed out at the stroke of 9:30am even though we didn’t get a chance to eat because we were waiting for food to arrive and then they whisked it away before we had a chance to get any. "First time staying here as I usually book one of the newer properties in the area but they were booked so I rolled the dice. Cons - 1) No air conditioning. Which is not unusual in the Bay Area but I sleep hot and didn’t feel safe opening a window in a one story building. Don’t get me wrong, THE AREA IS GREAT but one can never be too safe. 2) Paper thin walls. We could hear the conversations in the adjacent rooms. Pros - 1) GREAT VALUE for the money. 2) I could see the waves crashing...

"The room worked well for us. It was spacious and clean. We could see the ocean and horizon from our 3rd floor window. Unfortunately, there was a overwhelminf fragrance in the elevator. And, the walls were thin. We woke up several times to furniture moving and noise in the hallway. We needed an extra blanket and pillows. But we never asked."
