"Barceló Huatulco is a lovely family mid-size resort with friendly staff, nice rooms, and pools. It was at full capacity but did not seem overcrowded. It's set on a 1/2 mile beautiful beach in a quiet and safe area. The Premium level is the way to go to get better alcohol and an ocean front room. The drawbacks to this property is it lacks a coffee shop and there are only 3 main restaurants besides the buffet. Guests have limited use of a la carte restaurants unless the are premium level. "

"Parking was limited space, check out was an act of congress in the sense that I had to do a lot of steps. Room did not come with Air conditioning I had to pay extra for that. Staff at the counter were very low tone and I did not feel welcomed."
