"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. "This hotel has only one guest house, not room. The house has two bed rooms with two single bed in each. You can play piano if you wish. Big bath, small kittchen clean toilet to stay number of days with a family or friends. Food is not math produced. We have had a game (November) in Italian style for dinner. Hotel is more than 200 year old historical buirding but well maitained. Owner explains building and it's uniqe history. It was our own way from Koya-mountain to Nara by car."

"The rooms are very spacious, very close to train station, a 10 minute walk to Nara Park, shopping street right around the corner. The bed was very comfortable, had great ammenities in the bathroom and the front desk staff was so friendly. They let me leave my bag till check in time while I went to Nara Park for the day."

Lovely quiet ryokan with onsen

"Our stay at Nara Ryokan was perfect - very lovely quiet stay and beautiful rooms, and an amazing onsen/public bath. It wasn't listed for the hotel, but you are able to reserve a "family time" for the onsen use where I was able to privately share the onsen together with my husband and our friends with tattoos were also able to utilize for their own private time, which was a great experience, particularly with the provided robes and slippers. The hotel is about a 10min walk away from the main station, and just around the corner from a lovely park with a nearby Starbucks and small park where the deer freely hangout and roam around. A truly lovely place to stay, would definitely stay here again!"

"We love the convenience of the location and the amenities, such as laundry services, vending machines, luggage storage, and even comic books provided by the hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and polite. Its location is close to sightseeing locations, shops, restaurants, and transportation hubs. We would definitely stay here again should we come to Nara in the future."
