"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. "I like location is walkable to shoppings including both bigger brands and also smaller shops. A lot of selections in terms of food and restaurant as well. The room in this particular hotel is bigger than average, it is comfortable for long stay and they provide not only a simple tooth brush and shampoo, but also a huge selection of facial care products. "Hotel Alps was a great place to stay in Osaka, very close to Dotonbori. The room was very spacious and clean. The only caveat was that there was no luggage transportation option, so I needed to find a nearby Yamato office and walk my luggage there instead."
