"We were late arriving and had been anxious, having booked dinner, but Tanguy was a relaxed, understanding, and welcoming host. The room with its window seat, large and well-appointed bathroom, and surroundings were spotless. Despite being only a couple of streets from the busy main road Le Clos des Poulies was peaceful and set in a lovely garden. Dinner was great - thank you Tanguy!"

Quand vous êtes dans un endroit ou l’accueil, le service, la convivialité, la simplicité est l’âme de la maison et que les propriétaires en font une priorité, un grand merci à eux. À cela vous rajoutez des repas réalisés de main de maître par la maîtresse de maison avec principalement du fait maison avec des produits locaux, du jardin, … Vous vous sentez bien, comme chez vous. "Not what we expected very surprised to find loo and bathroom on ground floor and shared with all inhabitants of the house. So surprised during a pandemic that only used things to a minimum also no hand gel provided. Do not feel house was made to be a BnB more like barging into someone's private house."

"Beautiful place to say with spacious gorgeous amenities,great welcome and lovely breakfast.We arrived Tuesday so most local eateries were shut .There is a reasonable restaurant 12 kilometres away but we opted for a straight forward dish at the local walkable pizzaria which was fine .In fact there is free use of the kitchen & Madame keeps a healthy stock of wine & beer that you can purchase.It would have been far more sensitive to bring our own food - next time if it’s a Monday / Tuesday."

"Their photo is misleading. It looks like a pleasant guest court yard, but is actually storage for bikes, supplies and the back door of the kitchen and bar. Our room was 3 floors above a small bar on a walking street, up very narrow winding stairs usable for only small carry-on luggage. The room was very basic, but clean. "We've been welcomed by a very friendly, wonderful couple. We could enjoy the living room in the main house and even the library as well. In the morning the huge breakfast was more like a brunch! Our suite (close to the main house) was very comfortable, with both bedrooms upstairs. Bedrooms are pretty big. The second bedroom with 2 single beds is perfect, for example if there are 2 kids. Just note that you'll have to go through the main bedroom to access the bathroom. You can park your car...
