"Extremely remote (nearly a 3 hour bus ride from Kinegawa Onsen Train station into the winding mountains) which was both an adventure and unnerving. "オーナーさんは本当にとても良い方で、お料理も美味しかったです。色々な犬種の飼い主さんとコミニュケーションできたり、犬に触れえたのも良かったです。犬連れが多いですが、犬がいなくても大丈夫。 ただ、車で行ったのですが、かなりすごい道を通るので運転は大変だと思います。途中、野生の猿と出会いました。あとは自然が多いので当然、虫も大量発生しています。虫が苦手な人は厳しいです。"

"Had had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."

"Higashiyama onsen is a lovely, narrow canyon on the outskirts of Aizuwakamatsu. The red and blue sightseeing buses stop within 150 yards of the hotel. The onsen baths are not too hot. The food is great. Our room was a regular one and was spacious. All in all it was a very nice place. "

"The hotel is situated up in the mountain and built right next to hill side. A great place to relax and just unwind closed to the nature. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
