"Our group had four rooms for a week in December 2024. The hotel accommodated our requests for 1- or 2-beds depending on the room which was great. The beds were very comfortable, and with A/C and black-out curtains, everyone slept very well. The hotel was well staffed and the level of service was good. Breakfast was great, lots of options to try. One request would be to make hand sanitizer more accessible at the breakfast buffet. (No one in our group got sick, just a general recommendation for buffets). The gym facility is beautiful. The spa and hot/cold tubs were a great amenity. Poolside service was nice to have, but a bit slow, and impossible to get a strong cocktail! The location was good because you could walk to a couple cafes or small grocery, or grab a $1-2 tuktuk to the busier areas. Airport transfer provided by the hotel was seamless and so appreciated after 20 hours of travel! Overall, we were looking for a comfortable reliable hotel with amenities and great service on a budget, and this one totally came through for us. "

"First, I want to start out by saying that Cambodia was amazing and was our favorite of the 4 countries we visited. While our stay wasn’t perfect, it was very good and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The staff was amazing and treated us so kind kindly. Our room was huge, very clean and well appointed. Some things I would do different are that I would have skipped the suggested sunrise tour as you waste so much time in the dark and there was nothing special about it. We also took 1 tour via car (twice as expensive) and the rest in a tuk tuk and highly recommend the tuk tuks. It was our favorite part of our trip. You see so much more and feels more authentic. I would have skipped the spa even though it’s cheap- you get what you pay for. The #1 thing I didn’t expect in all of Cambodia was that you pay for everything in US dollars. It ended up being the most expensive country we visited, but it was still worth it. The majority of the money made is through tourism, and while it wasn’t crazy, expensive, it was definitely more than I was expecting. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel."

"During my recent visit to Siem Reap, I had the opportunity to relax at the hotel’s stunning poolside area, and it was an absolute delight. The spacious pool was not only beautifully designed but also impeccably maintained, offering a serene oasis to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The poolside atmosphere was enhanced by comfortable loungers and plenty of shaded spots, making it easy to soak up the sun or enjoy a cool breeze. I particularly enjoyed the lush greenery surrounding the area, which added to the overall tropical vibe. One of the highlights of my time by the pool was trying the cocktails from the bar. The menu featured a fantastic selection, and I sampled a few different drinks during my stay. Each cocktail was expertly prepared, balanced, and refreshingly delicious. The staff at the bar were friendly and attentive, making sure I always had a drink in hand. Overall, my experience at the poolside was incredibly enjoyable. It provided the perfect setting for relaxation and socialization, with excellent service and a fantastic drink selection. I highly recommend spending time at the pool during your stay in Siem Reap; it’s a wonderful way to relax and indulge in a little luxury. "

"The hotel is a nice oasis of calm in the heart of Siem Reap. Calm & tidy, the room was decent & pool area never too busy. The staff are what set this place apart - every single person from breakfast to spa greets you with a smile, it’s not forced, it’s genuine. A special mention to Anna, Naza & Hana at the front desk. No task too big or small. Please remember where you are, in a fundamentally poorer country, they are providing an excellent experience in terms of service & amenities. "

"We were so impressed with everything at Sokha Angkor Resort! The facilities, the room, and the food were all fantastic. But far and away the best part of the hotel was the staff. Everybody went out of their way to be helpful and kind. I don’t like to single people out because everyone did such a good job, but I feel compelled to mention a few who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. First and foremost was Dawi at the front desk. From the moment we arrived until we departed she did everything she could to be helpful. And she was very helpful! She’s very kind and also very professional and capable. In the restaurant, there were two people who stood out - Chet and Lina. Everybody was great, but we got to know these two a little bit better and it was a pleasure getting to know them. They were both wonderful. "
