The room was a little bit small but had a good shower. Again, the staff were great from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant to the bar tender. "

"We stayed at 3 Berjaya hotels and of them, this was our least favorite. Most notably, there was a strange smell in the room (I think because of the shower?) that reminded me of wet dog. The shower also was clogged so it would fill up to your ankles and I’d worry about it spilling over into our room. Besides this, the lobby of the hotel was very nice, as was the staff. "The cabin is absolutely beautiful two bedrooms downstairs one bedroom upstairs loft type beautiful kitchen. Everything you need to cook a meal great living room, beautiful deck. We were there in the winter so we didn’t use it. Wish we could have washer and dryer in a beautiful laundry room. Would go back to this property Again and again and again. "

"The second time we stayed here within a week, as we came back to Akureyri and really loved this place. However, we were placed in a larger room with a bunk and two single beds. As we are a couple, we wanted a double bed, in a standard twin room. However, when we called the property, they insisted that this room was an 'upgrade.' We had to sleep on separate beds, and we didn't need such a big room. We also didn't have a sink in this room, which we had on our previous stay."
