"I arrived on the fri to meet marrisa who che cked me in with a beautiful smile and a plasent attitude. I only had one problem with noisy people in room next to me but it was sorted within 5 min. Rooms could do with a make over but it did not effect my stay. Location for train station and bus station excellent. All the way through my stay marrisa went above and beyond her job title. Booked another stay in june 2025 ."

"It was lovely. The rooms amd public areas were spotless. Afternon tea was delicious. Small issue with heating and hot water, but it didn't spoil what was otherwise a lovely weekend. "

"Lovely reception, family room perfect with surprise extra bed, lovely and clean, gorgeous towels and space. Very nice bar, restaurant and friendly staff. Slow service at dinner but it was busy, Food was sadly average . All looked lovely but needed more flavour. I do a lot of cooking so maybe fine to someone that only eats simple foods . Pool area very tired. Has so much potential for a fabulous spa but perfect for the kids they didn’t care. Just don’t have big expectations. Overall Very...

"A quiet retreat for a pleasant getaway."

"Hotel is in a great location, the staff at check in were extremely helpful and the facilities are great for families. Lots to do to keep the little ones entertained including the pool, cinema and play areas. Kids were so excited to have their own drinks tray in the room and bathrobes for the pool. Only one grumble, the breakfast was a fixed price, so not great value if your kids are fussy. Will most certainly be looking to book another trip here with the family."
