"Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed. "The hosts were very friendly and helpful, eager to please. They gave great suggestions of where to go in town. The building is historical so revuew is taking this into consideration. Our room (south) really needed an extra table to be able to sit at or place our suitcase on. There was plenty of room for one The bed was incredibly comfortable. "The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also would’ve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator."
