"I love the Riu and the parties and entertainment were amazing , there was a few hiccups this time , staff wasn’t always on point this time . Generally very pleased with this resort . The food was amazing . Excited for the renovations. Will come back for sure "

"This property had an incredible view, as it was located up on the hill. They offer a shuttle service to and from town which we didn't use, but I imagine is very convenient! They also included access to their partner beach club which was amazing & included a gym with classes available! The rooms themselves were nice, but a bit outdated & the bathroom was tiny."

"For the price and location it was very nice. But if you are looking to have dinner take the minute walk towards town many restaurants The restaurants that is there is expensive and not very good. "

"The RipJack Inn is our go-to place to stay in the Playa Grande area. The rooms are clean, spacious with hot water and cool air conditioning. The restaurant/bar area has a fabulous happy hour with tasty food and refreshing beverages. You are a minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. Monkeys and exotic birds are plentiful on the property. We have stayed on this property on several occasions and will continue to due so in the future."

"I stayed at this hotel for a wedding almost 20 years ago, so was excited to go back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. My recommendations would be for the hotel to tidy up the grounds, remove rocks from the sitting area by the pool and try and clean up the beach a little bit right in front of the hotel."
