Stayed here for 4 nights and it was so much fun! I was a little hesitant to book because of some of the negative reviews, but honestly the room size was just fine! It’s true there isn’t a ton of storage space but there was space under the bed to store your luggage and compartments where I stored my shoes and bags. There was a clothing rod which we used to hang our dress clothes as my husband and I were in NY for a wedding. (Added bonus was the steamer included in the room.) There was also enough room to hang some other garments. The room also had lots of hooks which we used to hang our bags, hats, and towels. Honestly, you just have to be organized with your belongings and it works. Also, how much time are you actually spending in your room when you’re visiting New York?! I will say that my husband and I are not shy about bathroom duties, but I can see why it could be uncomfortable for some as the bathroom door won’t cover all the possible sounds that would come from a bathroom. ;)
Anyway, the vibe of the hotel was great. All of the staff were super friendly. The $25/day was also a nice excuse to unwind at the bar. Drinks were awesome! Didn’t get around to trying the food. The location is also fantastic. So much to walk to! And, best part is there is a market right downstairs open 24hr with a chopped cheese sandwich that I’m still drooling over now :(
Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a fun spot!
