"The food options are limited, breakfast options are same everyday, also very few options.. Despite being a 5 star, it doesn’t feel like one. There is very little space in the property where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. There are no views as such, there is steep hike to the Ganga. The Ganga Arti is nice. In the night since it’s so close to the road, you can hear trucks noise all night. Staff is polite but requests take forever to fulfil."

"We did not get any room when we reached despite having a prepaid deluxe room, at reception we were told to enquire with hotels.com customer care. We had to wait in 30 minutes in rain at reception to discover that they will not able to provide any room. Customer care at hotels.com were communicating via chat, after waiting for 45 minutes in uncertainty i decided to look out for an option on my own. In short, very disappointed with these marketing tactics by hotels.com. Raised a request for refund."

"I booked this sight unseen, from the US. We Rishikesh for a memorable trip - this hotel was well reviewed on several sites. It is set in a spectacular location, with a clear view of the Ganga. The approach road is, as is typical for Rishikesh, a one-lane narrow street - friendly people at both ends keep watch to ensure that cars do not go in at the same time at both ends! The rooms are clean, comfortable and have fans as well as heating (I did not check the air-conditioning). The food is excellent - it is strictly vegetarian and since they do not have a liquor license, one cannot get alcohol in the restaurant. The staff arranged a tuk-tuk for us to visit other locations in Rishikesh. They are extremely friendly and nice, especially the front desk."
