"Great place overall. Very accommodating when our flight got canceled. Comfortable beds, clean restroom, housekeepers were great, stocked coffee everyday and all staff were very friendly. The amount of noise surrounding the area was constant, people yelling(all hours of the night), actually saw a fight one morning. However, it is close to many restaurants and centrally located, walking distance to many attractions. "

"Room was nice. Walking distance to the waterfront, but it’s a climb back up. Kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there was construction right in front of the hotel (not their fault at all) which made access very confusing and difficult. The hotel sent information in advance, but until you are there trying to navigate it, you don’t really understand. "

"A dish towel in the lovely kitchen or paper towel would be much appreciated. We realize that cruise ship and airline passengers come and go at inconvenient times for cleaning staff. If you realize that someone is sitting in the lobby after a very long flight calling your cleaning staff to get their rooms ready asap would be most appreciated. Sitting awaiting 2:00 pm is further exhausting for your guests. NZ is in a unique position for passengers arriving mid-morning after a 14 hour flight. "

"Great location and in spite of its proximity to the motorway, room was very quiet. Having the supermarket 3 minutes walk away is also very convenient. The dishwasher wasn’t working and they knew this when they put me in the room so that was a touch annoying but once I reported the issue, house keeping kindly washed up all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
