"Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Aber es war alles super. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, auch die Idee mit dem vorbestellen, sehr gut. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war toll. Dann hatten wir morgens noch einen Nikolaus für jeden vor der Tür. Super lieb. Die Besitzer und die Angestellten super super nett. "

Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Good hotel close to the centre. In my opinion they should be giving double size duvet and two pillows for double bed (instead of single) and there should be a kettle in the room. Overall great staff and good facilities. "

"An immaculate hotel with wonderful attentive staff. The rooms are well designed with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is one of the best I have encountered, a massive buffet selection in a beautiful room overlooking the city. I love the roof pool and spa area to relax in. There is also another pool indoors with a sauna and spa facilities. An underground car park topped off my stay. "
