"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. "The room is very fine: clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable. However, there isn't a single drinking glass in the whole room and that is very inconvenient."

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "

"Hotel has a great location and view of the Rhine. Parking was not easy as the hotel only has about ten spots. The man at the front desk told us we could park across the lot in another business's lot for $10.00 cash a day which seemed kind of strange. He said he gives the cash to the other business. We did it and it worked out fine."

"The room was clean but for 3 people it was ultra small and a tight squeeze. The area around seemed more industrial and we did not feel safe staying out late. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi as we had an early train to catch"
