"This resort was very very unique. Interesting architecture and stonework. Nice little bay. The staff was top notch. Bent over backwards to help us. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to snorkel the bay until the last day and the water was cloudy and full of floating debris from all the wind and rain blowing into the bay. "I gave the resort five stars, but I would give the weather one star. The room was very nice. Nice bed and pillows. We had a nice water view. The staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating. They apologized repeatedly for the large party of government officials that were there for their Christmas party and were loud later onto the night, but they really weren’t an issue. "There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. "Friendly staff, big rooms with cool temperatures. I wish the pool was open! My only other suggestion would be to build an additional layer of security to the front. In its current form, anyone can walk through the gate and up to your room. From that, I felt unsafe though I did not encounter any crime. Trip was very successful otherwise - thank you!"
