Friendly staff. Relatively quiet. Convenient parking. Nice view.

I preferred the Mauna Lani before Auberge. It’s not the same relaxed low key vibe at all. Very over priced. Shortage of staff. Slow service at all restaurants. Too many kids for an upper end luxury hotel. Lack of personalized service. Felt disconnected from hotel.

Amazing view of golf course. They got everything you need.

This is an older property that has recently been mostly renovated. The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely updated. The front desk and housekeeping staff was great. The staff by the pool seemed disinterested and the towel card policy was awkward (apparently they charge you if you don't return pool towels). The food was fine though the restaurant was in the lower lobby with limited views. The main restaurant area with the best views has not yet been renovated, nor has the spa. Parking was convenient. The partial ocean view room was great. This property is one of the southernmost resorts near Kona. We found that farther south, afternoons were often more cloudy than places to the north in March when we visited. Overall a solid value for the money if you plan to get out and explore the island.
