"Spacious room"

"Wonderful place, cool old building. Two issues: 1) the bathroom was really cold, much colder than the room itself. 2) They warned that they would place a $250 hold on my credit card during my stay. Ok, but then there was an additional $183 to hold the room that was supposedly refunded when I checked in but remained as a pending charge on my account for the entire weekend. The fact that they monopolized $433 that I didn't owe them was a bit of an inconvenience, so that's something to plan for,...

"Great experience overall. Door staff was very helpful upon check-in and check-out. Initial check-in staff were very pleasant despite being a little early. We came back at 4pm when our room was ready and we were greeted by Keegan who treated us to a room upgrade. Room was very clean and our floor was quiet. Great location in the theater district and subway station fairly close. Would definitely stay again!! "

"I loved the style of the property! My husband thought it was "dated", but I felt like the style was intentional and liked it. We asked for extra towels and pillows, and those were brought in a timely manner. Room was clean. Had a hard time in our particular room regulating the heat...it was way too hot so we kicked on the air occasionally. The best part of the Belvedere was the doormen! We had great interactions with them from start to finish!"
