"The staff (all we encountered) were helpful and friendly. The location was great for us- an authentic Italian restaurant in front and an lovely, french bar/rest to the side - both within steps. The hotel is smaller than others we've stayed, but cozy, very inviting, and easy to navigate. The complimentary coffee bar is open all the time and was great to have coming in from the cold weather! "

"The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was nice. The staff was very efficient with requests and were polite. Admittedly, the neighborhood leaves much to be desired but it is close to the subway and there are a lot of recognized food options very near by. Even though the area was full of a cast os characters, we never felt unsafe and didn't have any issues with the locals. I would stay there again."
