"If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner. "

"Hotel in good location, near to train , taxis and shops. We liked it is an eco hotel so recycled toiletries and suggestions of 4 min shower but they didn’t provide staff at pool bar which meant 30 people were going up and down in lift all day which we thought was odd ! Have to collect towels from reception - more use of lifts . You can’t control air con in your room which we found uncomfortable first couple nights. Cocktails were good in bar and beds comfortable. Overall good . "

"We had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel. Lester at the reception desk was exceptionally kind and attentive to our needs. As we arrived hungry in mid afternoon, we were disappointed to learn that the dining room was closed until 7pm. Lester came to our rescue.
