"We stayed for 2 nights and welcomed 2020 here and we couldn't have picked a better place to be. Ram was our guide and he also ensured that our stay was comfortable and took care of any requests we had. We were the only guests for the two nights as it is low season during winter time but we cannot recommend a better time to visit Nepal in general. All the other staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the other guides were also super friendly and chatty and happy to share...

"Property looks very good. Very basic room and it was suffocating as the room had some smell. Maybe it was a very basic room as we saw there were other good rooms too. Ours was a very bad one and was a very bad experience."

"The staff are very polite and accommodating. My safari adventures were well run and the naturalist (Nabin) was so knowledgeable that I even got to spot a tiger! Not many people get to see one. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in one of the well appointed safari tents overlooking the national park. We could even hear a rhino at night munching away under our tent! "

"We had quite a bad experience staying three nights at the Jungle Villa Resort. At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful. A large number of bad experiences with management was part of ruining the trip for us; incompetent and untrustworthy, lacking understanding of their guests. "We stayed at the Vivanta for three nights in April and loved it! The hotel is beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable but what we loved most was the staff. I don’t remember being treated better at any hotel. From check in to the wait staff, hostess, manager and even the chef, we were treated like family and taken care of so well that we hated to leave. We will be back Vivanta! "

"Overpriced, overhyped, and overwhelmingly disappointing I genuinely don’t understand the rave reviews about Sapana Village Lodge, my stay felt more like a lesson in what not to do in hospitality. Sure, the view is lovely… but you can’t sleep on a view. The room? Dim, musty, and crawling with ants quite the “rustic charm,” if that’s what you’re into. The bathroom felt like it hadn’t seen a proper cleaning in ages, and the linens had a damp, moldy smell that made me question everything. The service was painfully slow and disorganized. I waited over an hour for dinner and when it finally arrived, it was bland, lukewarm, and overpriced. The staff were friendly, but the whole place felt like it was running on guesswork and good intentions rather than actual management. What really pushed me over the edge was the outrageous pricing for activities. They charge a premium for basic excursions like canoe rides and jungle walks and we later found the exact same experiences literally down the road for half the price, with better guides and no pushy upselling. It felt like they were taking advantage of guests who didn’t know any better. If you’re into paying luxury prices for a mediocre lodge and a side of frustration, then maybe this is the place for you. "

"Our stay at Riverbank Jungle Resort was truly unforgettable! The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of flavors that kept us excited for every meal. The jungle activities, including safaris and nature walks, were thrilling and well-organized, giving us a chance to witness incredible wildlife up close. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after an adventurous day. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcome throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and hospitality, this resort is the ideal choice. Highly recommended!"

"The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Beer prices are good too. "

Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the team—they are warm, helpful, and truly caring. Their thoughtfulness shone through when they arranged taxi pickups for us and helped with booking transport during a natural disaster. I am genuinely grateful for their outstanding hospitality. Thank you!"
