"Magical location, couldn’t be more centrally located! Rooms were sparsely decorated, but absolutely huge for Europe! Breakfast was divine – way more than just a few croissants & yogurt. Very easy luggage storage before check-in and after check out, as well."

"We came in a bit late and were confused as to where to check in. We got to our room and were able to eat dinner and breakfast the following morning. Given that accommodations on Mont St. Michel are limited, we had a good room and a great experience."

"Great place to stay. The office clerk was very helpful and knew enough English to answer my questions. My French is very limited. You are definitely paying for the location. The rooms are a bit small but I’m learning that most rooms are small in France. They are clean overall. Great place to stay and I will definitely e back!"

"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."
