"The address on google maps didn't take me to the hotel so I got a bit worried when I couldn't find it. Eventually I found it just as a hotel listed nearby. I arrived after the reception was closed so did self check-in from the machine at the front door. It was very easy and straighforward. "This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. Shower floor slippery (as per usual: i carry a mat with me now that I'm old and fragile). 7 mins walk (uphill) from station which is itself right in town centre by the old port."
