"Cannot imagine there is a better option in Espot. The room was nothing fancy, perfect for us to return to after two days of hiking in the National Park. "We stayed at Hotel Val de Ruda for eight nights to ski and experience the region. The hotel staff was exceptional; friendly, professional, going above and beyond to see that we had a pleasant, relaxing stay. "Really nice hotel right in the middle of town. We had a room with a single bed upstairs for our son. McDonalds is next door if you need some quick food but the hotel has a lovely resraurant and there is also one over the road directly opposite. Parking was a challenge. The hotel carpark is down a steep alleyway and looked very scary to navigate into. The carpark was full so we parked in the shopping centre accross the road. It is an older hotel and therefore don’t expect ultra modern, but it is very clean and comfortable, the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. the only thing that lets it down is the acoustics, we could hear the Roomes either side and above, although this didn’t disturb our sleep. "Great hotel/resort. Pet friendly (we stay with our dog) and staff was really helpful too. Breakfast was good too.. Rooms does not have A/C. On the other hand, you have the Church Clock that bangs every hour 24/7 so you can hear in the night as well. I think the owner of the hotel should talk with the Church to avoid the sounds at least at night. Normal price for what you get."
