Lakehead-Lakeshore Trip

The bathroom door was really hard to open it was a sliding door a lot of chips in furniture can be easily blamed on the person staying there

I loved all the activity options for the family, something for everyone. The staff was great and helpful. We didn’t really eat on the property we explored the restaurants around SD. The issue we had was the mattress was old, both my husband and I had hip pain from it. The walls were super thin, it was hard to sleep since we were next to people who liked their evening libations and very loud until well past midnight:

If you get a room facing the beach it tends to get pretty noisy with the door open. Once you shut the door it's quiet though. Is a great hotel for families, they have everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach. Out of 3 trips to SD this was the best hotel experience I have had. The area is probably one of the best areas to stay at as well. Close to SeaWorld and Seaport village.

Great location for ball games. Also such a great neighborhood— with many restaurants and bars. The employees were all amazing. Housekeeping was great. I liked the relaxed vibe at the hotel. The daily water was great and the water in the lobby was also great. We had a one bedroom suite which was decent. The bathroom was huge with a separate tub and separate shower. The shampoos etc were in big bottles (great!). The mini fridge was nice but a little small. Storage space in the room was great. Good workout room. The pool area was nice but there weren’t enough loungers. I recommend removing the cabanas and adding more lounging chairs. The food in Land Shark was amazing.
