"Staying at the Metropole Urban Hotel in Heraklion was a highlight of our trip. This modern, centrally located hotel was immaculate, well-appointed and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony with gorgeous views of the Cathedral of Agios Minas set on a busy city square lined with restaurant terrasses and loaded with happy families, the children having the time of their lives playing football, hide-n-seek and riding scooters throughout the day and evening. Such an idyllic setting! We were within easy walking distance of shopping and popular attractions such as the Venetian Fortress on the water as well as the extraordinary Archaeological Museum. The staff at Metropole Urban were friendly and professional and the room rate was very reasonable, especially considering the extremely abundant and delicious breakfast that came with it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a memorable Heraklion experience."

"Went as a quick birthday trip. It’s a really nice hotel, modern and calming decor with breathtaking view of the sea. We had a room with a sea view which was lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable. The food was really nice with plenty of options. It was hard to get a reservation at the a la carte restaurants but we didn’t mind as much given that the main restaurant was really good. The grounds are really big and plenty of options to Lounge. Highly recommend and would go again! "
