Komlo Trip

I ended up with a family room. Plenty of room for a family with a private bathroom. Place was clean and tidy. Right in the centre of Budapest and close to all sights. Supermarkets are close by too, would definitely stay here again.

Great location and clean

Unio is a superb example of how a low budget hotel can give you an excellent accommodation experience. This is happening because the people of the hotel are working with professionalism and passion. You just feel like being home. The location is perfect, very close to all highlights of the city, 5 minutes from the metro Oktogon, 20 minutes from the railway Nyugati but most of all ten minutes from the most happy neighborhood of Budapest full of restaurants, bars, cafes and friendly people. Late night lots of noise from the club below but beautiful and well-kept rooms. Overall great value for money. Just spent 1 night but look forward to more times.

Since it’s located a bit far from the city center, the area was very quiet and surrounded by nature, which was great for families with children. We arrived early, but the staff at the front desk was very kind and let us check in before the official time, which was very helpful. The room was very quiet, perhaps because it was separated from the neighboring chalet, and the wooden interior created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Although we didn’t use the sauna, the room came with one. However, there were no English instructions, so having English signage would make it easier to use. The room was warm, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included, with a good variety of options. It was very comfortable even for families with small children. One downside was that the bathroom would get flooded when taking a shower, so it would be nice if rubber slippers or something similar were provided. Perhaps because it was the off-season, the value for money was excellent. Highly recommended!
