I have stayed at the Hampton Inn numerous times (diff locations). This one was TRULY disappointing. The bed sheets has what looked like parts of a tangerine peel and a small blood stain. They came and changed it right away. Later on grabbed a coffee and when I went to heat it up, I noticed our microwave was not working. Breakfast is one of the main reasons I book Hampton Inn, usually fantastic. This was really bad. The potatoes were cold, the eggs were super over cooked and the apple juice was completely watered down. So below the standard I expect from a Hampton Inn, would not book this location again.

We came to town to ride on the Waterloo Central Railway (Santa train!!l) and were pleasantly surprised a how conveniently located the hotel was to the train stop and St. Jacob's market. We loved the pool and breakfast as well!

We've stayed here before. Just a suggestion on cutlery at breakfast. The bamboo knives were not the best for cutting the peameal bacon. Having regular cutlery (not plastic) would be helpful as you already use "real" cups and bowls. Also probably more environmentally friendly since they are not likely to get put in the garbage by mistake.
