"The unit we were given was great overall. Clean and spacious. However one of the bathroom doors wasn't installed properly and we had a hard time opening and closing the bathroom door. Also there was no microwave oven installed which I was expecting from a home-stay perspective. Food purchased outside could not be re-warmed. Other than that, the unit was great."

"We're very satisfied with the apartment! It's new and well-maintained. Very clean and safe. It's within a short and easy 15-min walk from the JB Customs and sheltered all the way. A breeze to check-in and out! The only improvement which we hope to see is the provision of hand towel in the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than this, all thumbs up for a spacious and comfortable stay for us."

"Homestay is spacious and provides items such as utensils, toiletries etc. Check-in was slightly troublesome since it has to be done at a hotel 5-mins drive away. Toilets were slightly dirty when we arrived (checked in at 9pm), with the floor being super wet, toilet unflushed and bathroom mat having coloured spots. Overall the stay was decent for the price, but it would be great if the cleanliness was better-maintained."

"2 days before my stay, i had reached out to the apartment via Expedia and directly - to request for early check-in as i was coming in to JB in the morning. However there were no response from them at all (despite the info provided is to request at least 24 hours in advance). "Communications was a nightmare. We had to work through what was probably a managing agent whose communications was intermittent. Check-in was late (I understand that there was probably a lack of cleaning personnel); with little updates. Facilities at the condo was very good, but the condos themselves were small, under-maintained and the 3 room apartment included a converted study area with no door posing as one of the bedrooms. "

"Clean rooms. Basic and practical layout. Shower was great with good water pressure. Like the separate shower and toilet. All required amenities are in, not luxurious, but good enough for short stay"

"Walking distance to checkpoint and near Komtar and City Square Mall. Reached hotel in the morning and left our luggage since room is not ready. Hotel lobby is very beautiful with many staff. There is a library and play area. Received a message around 1pm that the room is ready. However, we only reached back around 7pm and heard live singing at the restaurant. Was surprised to see our superior room to be upgraded. Look like to one bedroom suite. Room is spacious with separate living room and bedroom, 2 toilets, 2 tv, work area, balcony, complimentary minibar. Next morning breakfast has many varieties. Pleasant to see live singing while eating breakfast. Highly recommended. "
