The staff at this property are INCREDIBLE. Every person we interacted with was kind and gracious. The property was originally built to house guests in the summer only, and we found the bathroom floor in our room VERY cold. We were on the first floor of the Evitt House section. The upper floors will most likely be warmer. The hiking, indoor pool, and exploring the property itself-were full of historic charm and originality. There is peace and quiet to be had in the woods, and enjoying the various springs is worthwhile.

It's exquisite in every way. It's a historical hotel without feeling old. It was beautifully restored and has every amenity you could hope for. The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious. This is a fantastic property.......beautiful and with so much history. I have come here for many years in late summer or early fall and couldn't have been more satisfied. For the very 1st time though, I was shocked to pay $7 in The Golf Club Restaurant for a cup of coffee when it was $3.25 a cup in the hotel coffee shop. I won't be getting anymore coffee in the Golf Club Restaurant, that's for sure!

The staff were all incredibly friendly. The complimentary historic hotel tour by Carolyn, the concierge, was FANTASTIC! She was so knowledgeable and the history of this hotel is simply amazing.
