"The ocean view from the room is exceptional and the in-room hammock is lovely. The bar/restaurant employees were incredibly friendly and took great care of us. However, the beach was disappointing. There was glass from broken bottles, broken floor tiles, large rocks, and other debris on the shoreline. Once you get past that, the beach sand is soft and smooth. Sleeping was a struggle. "Everything was good at Dream Holbox but we did find a lot of broken glass on the beach. That is the only negative of the site."

"We loved the property, the location was not bad, we would have preferred the bell staff to deliver our luggage to the room which was upstairs on arrival. Also when we departed we had to carry our bags to reception, not bad but would have preferred them to be picked up. Next would be the greeting no one greeted us unless we were going to eat int he restaurant, maybe we are spoiled because we are used to people whomever they are and whatever their position would at least greet us with a hello....

"I loved everything about this place. Food and Drinks were incredible. Staff was warm and kind. My only complaint would be the availability of lounge chairs/beds on the beach. People would save them at breakfast or during the day leave things to keep them. This should be monitored or you should have extra chairs to bring out if this happens."

"I enjoyed the location of this hotel, very walkable to downtown but just far enough to be quiet from the downtown parties. The only slight downfall for the hotel is kids noise level in the morning at the pool. Our room was very close to the pool and it sounded like they were in our room."
