"We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but I must say this past day is hands-down the best we’ve ever had. They have renovated the lobby and restaurant area and it has really elevated this hotel. The rooms have always been spot on clean and comfortable. But now with the new renovations with the Calypso restaurant that has an amazing outside bar and dining overlooking the water. We have decided that this will be our permanent staycation place. We thoroughly enjoyed eating multiple meals at the Calypso restaurant, including the coconut, curry mussels, sticky chicken, coconut shrimp, the sheep crab soup is just to die for it has so much flavor. We typically caught lunch here and ate the appetizers and laid out by the pool and drink drinks. We had top-notch service from Alex and Pedro. Alex was our server and she was on it. Pedro was our bartender when we just wanted to hang out he was fun inviting and made awesome drinks. I would recommend this hotel and this restaurant over and over again."
