Room (5th floor) was a great size, clean, very comfortable. Had everything you might require for a stay in the room and everything was good quality. We had one meal in the restaurant and it was great. Food was delicious and service was quick, efficient and attentive. Really impressed. Would absolutely stay again. "

"The room & facilities were great. The location was perfect- great view next to the castle & 3 min walk to Grassmarket. The breakfast was a bit of a let down - £16.95 for a full breakfast & half of the items were missing - had to ask for them to be topped up & then had to wait almost 10 mins for them to arrive. Most of the other items were cold & our friend even asked for hers to be heated up in the microwave. Was not worth the £16.95"
