"I’m female traveling with my dog and wanted someplace SAFE AND CLEAN. And affordable- I don’t much care about aesthetics anymore. South Wind Inn is exactly that. The couple that runs it is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ice machine was very convenient and has all the ice you could need. I dropped ice water on the floor shortly after I went into the room and when I wiped it up with a white paper towel, the paper towel was still white when I finished. I like that kind of clean. I don’t care that the nightstand is from the 80s. And I loved the soft cotton mint green sheets! Very comfortable bed also…"
