"The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Seriously, it’s the point of an over night stay. Why do other hotels skimp on this feature? I think I’m staying at Marriott brand hotels from now on"

"Traveling from the Harrisburg area. This hotel is right beside a Perkin’s Restaurant, which was why I choose it. There are malls close by but it is still reasonably priced, which is also why I chose it. Breakfast is included, but we originally were going to eat at Perkin’s, so this did not attract me. So glad we decided to eat breakfast at this hotel. It was awesome, including the coffee. There was a wide variety of foods and beverages and the area was nicely spaced out and clean. There was no waiting to get something because of it being crowded. I’ve been in lots of hotels where breakfast is included and I’ve been disappointed. I must say that this is the best. If breakfast is one of your priorities in picking a hotel, this hotel is a good choice. I want to recognize Brenda for the way she does a wonderful job in the kitchen and breakfast room, yet has time to interact with guests and make them feel special while they are visiting Altoona!!!!!! All the staff were very friendly, people oriented, and helpful. The only thing I found that is a negative to me is there is no mirror outside the bathroom area for someone to use for doing hair, makeup, dressing, etc. while someone else is showering, brushing teeth, etc. It would have been a time saver if there was. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows made it better. We visit Altoona several times a year and will definitely stay here again!!!!"

"Nice property—clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, and overall, the stay was comfortable. The breakfast was limited with no hot food options, so keep expectations modest there. It was a bit noisy during our stay due to tournament families, but once the kids settled for the night, we were able to get some rest. A decent spot for a short stay."

"Rooms and pool were great, but I would stay there just for the bar and restaurant. They had incredible food and a super fun vibe at the bar. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!"
