"The hotel is conveniently located close to the Omiya station. The corner room we booked was perfect for 3 people. Breakfast was regular. The organization with the breakfast was chaotic, lots of people all the time so you have to sign on a list and wait until there is space available (even on Sundays when they give you 3 options: 6:30-7:30-8:30). "

"Was quiet and clean and a good walking distance from shops and transport. The Onsen bath was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious but as a foreigner i wasnt sure how to prepare most of the breakfast items. Some information/instructions with pictures from a QR code would be useful. Overall would stay here again."

"There was hair in our bed, the restaurant attached to the hotel overcharged me after heckling us in, and there was a no tattoo rule on their big bath so it felt like what few amenities offered were a scam or only for Japanese guest. I ordered a a drink (500yen), a juice(300yen) and fried chicken(650yen) from the restaurant and was charged 3200yen. I asked for a receipt and they refused. I eventually just gave it to them a left but the hotel being attached to such a shady restaurant was a huge...

"electronic door lock jammed while we were inside the room. no phone in room so couldn't call hotel staff. luckily managed contact with expedia via web chat n they called hotel to get us out n changed room. very rare case but would feel more safe if people inside room can reach staff via landline phone or message system, just in case."

Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

Great hotel in the heart of Tokyo

"Great place to stay in Tokyo, only 10 ish minutes walk from Shinjuku and close to train stations. Room was small but typical for Tokyo. Bathroom was clean with a bath/shower which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. We was able to send our luggage from the hotel using their services. Recommend highly! "

"This hotel is extremely convenient to transportation, 1 block from the trains, 2 blocks from buses. 3 convenient stores within 1 block away in different directions. The hotel staffs were extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were very clean. I had 2 different rooms because I checked out for 1 night to visit elsewhere, the hotel was able to hold my luggages until I came back to check in again the following day. The Airport Limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel. I was extremely happy that I did not have to drag my luggages onto the train to get to the airport since the bus was right outside the hotel. I took it both ways. One of my room was on the 23rd floor, I was able to see Mt. Fuji on clear sunny days. I also saw the city skyline at night from the same room. It depends on the room you get I supposed. The rooms were a good size for Japan hotels. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return to stay here in the future when I visit Tokyo area again. A sincere thank you to all the superb staffs at this hotel for making my stay so comfortable. "

"This was the perfect place for me to stay during my first week in Tokyo. I wanted to ease my way into the subway system and this hotel is quite literally across the street. Not to mention, there are multiple convenient stores less than a 4 min walk away. It’s also just a short train ride away from Shinjuku Station. If you’re flying in from Narita Airport (NRT) it is about an hour train ride away, but I wouldn’t let that deter you! It was my first time in Tokyo and my first time taking a subway and I was able to manage it just fine (in the middle of the night, might I add). You’ll take the KS Line (Blue) directly from the airport to Nippori Station, where you’ll then transfer to the JY Line (Green) and ride it to Ōtsuka Station. (Which is directly outside the hotel.) My room was very clean and my overall stay was very positive. I will almost certainly be returning to this location. "
