Cozy and nostalgic haven in the middle of the town
Beautiful and unique hotel with an authentic B&B aesthetic, a cozy room with a comfy bed and very friendly service. The breakfast was also very tasty. The hotel is in an old house, so noise suppression is not the best, but that is something that just comes with the territory. Hämeenlinna is a pretty quiet town, so outside noises are not a problem. Heartily recommended as an alternative to more boring and conventional hotels.

Noise from the street is very loud. The room was very hot despite the relatively cold summer night, so we had to keep the window open. I would not recommend taking a room without AC during the summer in this place.

Muuten kaikki oli ok, mutta yllätykseni oli myöhäinen aamupala sunnuntaiaamuna. Olisin sen takia halunnut perua majoituksen todella ajoissa, mutta omistaja ei siihen taipunut. Jatkossa varaan majoitukset vain isommilta toimijoilta.

Hyvin ystävällinen vastaanotto, perehdytys taloon ja sen toimintaan, jopa historiaan. Aamiaistarjoilu on "vain" sämpyläkahvit, mutta kahvi olikin sitten ERINOMAISTA! Ruokailumahdollisuuttahan tässä majapaikassa ei olekaan. Tämä oli toinen kerta, kun majoituimme tähän majataloon ja suosittelimme sitä muillekin. Menemme vastakin.

Hotelli oli todella sympaattinen ja sisustettu vanhaa kunnioittaen. Ainoa miinus oli huoneen kuumuus, mutta huoneessa oli onneksi tuuletin, joka auttoi asiaa. Ikkunaa ei oikein voinut pitää auki liikenteen melun takia. Hotelli sijaitsi kivenheiton päässä linja-autoasemasta ja kaikki keskustan palvelut olivat kävelyetäisyydellä. Aamupala oli viereisessä kahvilassa ja oli maukas ja riittävä.

Pidimme paikan kodinomaisuudesta ja sen tunnelmasta. Talo ja itse huone olivat raikas poikkeus vallitsevaan tarjontaan. Tunne oli kuin olisi kotiinsa tullut. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja erittäin maukas. Sijainti mitä rauhallisin. Kumminkin aivan kävelyetäisyydellä kaikesta.
