Overall experience was great. Would recommend the 3 day/2 night stay because on Day 2 is when you really experience Halong Bay. The staff are very friendly and eager to help and please. The only thing that was a little average was the dinner on Day 1. Would be so much better if Vietnamese food was served and less courses 😊. Vietnamese served on 2nd night.

Too expensive for that generic quality

The view was amazing, so was the staff. The room was very clean and beautifull. About the activities, all ships are proposing the same anyway... Prices for drinks aboard the boat are riduculously expensives. About food, you better be a sea food lover otherwise its gonna be a long trip. To be fair, when i asked is they're was something else than fish and seafood in the buffet, they brought me a plate of chicken. It wasn't really good, but the effort was much appreciated! Overall i think the price don't justify the cruise, you can find the same for way less.

The boat seemed good but the staff arbitrarily changed my premier suite booking (for which I had paid $365) to an ordinary suite (costing $74) without any rhyme or reason. When I argued about this for more than an hour into the cruise, the cruise manager told me that I can take the ordinary suite that I had been given or I can leave the boat in the middle of the Bay! So ridiculous and unprofessional! I have filed a complaint with American Express as well. Not at all recommended!!!
