"A lovely hotel where the staff were absolutely wonderful, the kids were over the moon with the biscuits the lady on reception gave us, just a little touch but it was lovely. The car park was well lit, covered by cctv, and easy access to the bar and hotel. There’s also a really good little park for the kids to be entertained if you want to sit out back for a bit. Overall it was excellent value for money and we would definitely go back. "

"Really good location. Friendly and helpful staff. It was clean, the bed was comfy. The tv comes with a chromecast so you can cast your phone which helps. Nespresso pods and twinings tea in the room. Such a ideal location. Right oppositie ncp car park which was tenna for 24hrs. Very convenient. Town centre is on your doorstep, aswell as the castle, plenty of restaurants, a convenient tesco across the way, for any bits. The room looked dated with the worn tables, tv stand and side table. They had scratches and made me feel like i was in a dorm room. Also not keen on a steel sink in the bathroom. Gives it a public bathroom feel - but of course that is my personal preference and was expected for the price we paid. "

Mercure Nottingham City Centre George Hotel

Great historical hotel in the Centre of the city

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Hotel in Nottingham City Centre. We booked with Hotels.com and used our Tesco Clubcard points/vouchers to pay for the room. We booked a standard double room and when we arrived at the hotel the Front Desk staff had upgraded us to a Premium King room for free. This included mini-fridge with complementary soft drinks, king bed and slippers and bathrobes. The room was tastefully decorated and had great facilities. The water pressure was strong and the only downside was that the mattress was slightly too firm for my taste. We had the buffet breakfast included and the selection was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next trip."
