"This hotel was a great place to stay for 7 nights. The staff were all wonderful and the breakfast and dinner options were great. Their breakfast buffet was by far the best I've had at any hotel. There is also a second restaurant/convenience store located on the grounds where we were able to get snacks for our stay. Booking our rental car through them was also incredibly easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated and provided everything you may need for your stay. The staff were accommodating, friendly, and good at communicating when I had questions before we even arrived to the country via email. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Iceland who wanted to stay on the peninsula. Reykjavik is only a 45 minute drive away and we were in a convenient location for all the tours we wanted to do, as well as the Blue Lagoon."

"Wish we could’ve came here earlier to see the surrounding areas. Made it on time just to pack and sleep and then leave the next day. We were able to see the northern lights that night. I would stay here again. Had everything we needed for the night"

"Great hotel and spa, really well presented building and the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and polite. OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."

"Stayed here with our toddler to catch a few hours of shut eye when our flight landed at 0500. The guest house was so accommodating when we let them know that’s what we’d be using it for, and they let us stay an extra hour for free which was much appreciated. Close to the airport, easy check in process."
