Don’t book here unless you have your own transport. I didn’t realise the nearest bus station was 3km away, which is technically walking distance but with two small kids, it was horrible and took up to 60 minutes to walk. The property was slightly dated with only one working pool. Breakfast was expensive with limited options. Probably wouldn’t ever come back but it wasn’t terrible

Love this quiet hotel in Hope Island area..its very convenient to other attractions and shopping...the rooms are larger and clean with great marina or pool views..the food is very good value and generous and the staff are very friendly and helpful :)

Our room was very uncomfortable, the room had a very bad smell , dirty poorly cleaned and the reception was not available half the time. There was a vomit stain that was not cleaned. Very poor service.

The main and very serious issue is the integrity of the hotel management, a couple. The woman is an habitual liar. I had numerous interactions with her over 4 days. She lied to me in every conversation I had with her. I had a PWC attached to my vehicle in the secure basement carpark, with cameras throughout. The PWC was stolen from the basement carpark at 8.45am on a Monday. Upon investigating, I discovered that the security door to the carpark was left open during the period around 8.45. The security cameras were also turned off. Don't park in the carpark. The second issue is that the fire system does not comply with Aust Standards, and cannot differentiate between fire and normal heat generated in a domestic environment. The Hotel Management actively conceals this issue.

The hotel room was great. The restaurant promised but didn't deliver. Some items were not available for the seafood platter, no bugs replaced with chewy/tough mussels, prawns pretty ordinary, at least the oysters were great and really fresh. Access to our room was a problem. No level access from lift and so there were stairs to negotiate which is not good with limited mobility. Make sure you ask for one of the rooms with level access if this is important. Generally good value for the price

No service in my room for 4 nights (garbage, towels, bed sheets) no service. Reception is open only up to 7pm maybe. Worst the door lock malfunctioned and I got stocked in my room for 3hrs and couldn't do my errands. No telephone connecting to the reception either. I asked help only from my balcony from people who are also in their balcony. Finally when the door was opened, relieved and left. I got back in the early morning, a new locking system was in place at my door but no instructions for the key and I could't get in this time when I got back 3am. I Have to climb the small window in my rest room to enter. I have a bad back not like young to be climbing windows at my age now. Upon entering, all dirt from the repairs are still in my room. I have to sleep with all these unfortunate experiences.

Have stayed here a few times now at the last minute due to work running late. The manager is so lovely and it's a good place for an overnight stay that's cheap in Hope Island. Rooms are clean but the hotel could do with a bit of an overhaul. Lifts smell like cigarettes but once in the room, it's actually very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view. This last time I had a terrible sleep as the couple next door were fighting and slamming doors all night long ,but the manager kindly let me have a late checkout so I could rest for an hour.

It was in a nice location, rooms were clean and beds were comfy with nice linens and amenities. Great price. However reception is only open 2-8pm and no answering machine for a call back which made it hard to get in touch with someone by phone to confirm booking and ask questions etc. Corridor floors need a good vacuum, outdoor tile areas and undercover pathways need a good pressure wash, bathrooms need a bit of paint and shower seals need to have mould removed. Owner was rude at times which was unacceptable and unnecessary. Other staff were lovely and good communicators.
