"Beautiful heritage hotel in a central location, with lovely lounge area and amazing rooftop terrace with view of fort. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Negatives are it was quite noisy as centrally located, and food was ok but not amazing. Would stay again! "

"Overall property experience good. Few things that were a minor disappointment: AC didn’t cool the room, bathroom didn’t have exhaust/ventilation, shower drain wasn’t draining well. Hotel service absolutely amazing. Dinner and breakfast 4 star."

"Extremely pleased to stay at Five Elements Jodhpur . The hotel is extremely clean everywhere. The room was sound proof. Vegetarian food served at restaurant is freshly prepared and of superb quality. Every staff I came across was polite and helpful . Little increase in the water pressure in the bathroom is desired, but not essential.Only one shortcoming I could find after deep inspection is missing by of peep holes on room doors. 😊"

"Very nice, as an American used to western accommodations this was perfect for me, nice spacious room, excellent service, safe area, good breakfast, hot water and large bathrooms, and speedy Wi-Fi! I highly recommend!"

"Little overpriced for what it is and breakfast not included, which is bizarre in India. The service staff were all very sweet and helpful. Owner was a bit strange with us. Great views and right next to the fort, which is a big plus. Heritage property. Food just ok. Our friends stayed at a MUCH nicer place for similar price. "

"Great view of the fort and a very warm welcome upon checkin. Food was good as well. But the staff lack in basic courtesy and simple rules of hospitality such as - do not call a guest on their room’s phone at 11pm just to ask what time will they check out the next day. Seriously, do not call a guest at 11pm unless there is a life threatening emergency. Asking them their check out time is not an emergency. "

"Booked for 2 nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The gala dinner, though expensive was excellent, music, dance, food, drink and service was exceptional. We stayed in two of the luxury "Tents", which had all the amenities of a normal room and felt special. Close to shops and some restaurants, walking distance. Impeccable hotel, beautiful. Salon near by, really good gym. Winter so pool was out, but too cold in the evening. "

"Great location to get anywhere in old town but still very quiet. Staff were super helpful and always available. Room was good, not fancy but clean and worth the price. I loved that you were welcome to sit on the rooftop for as long as you liked, moving from shade to shade with city sounds and an amazing view. Tip. If you aren't asked if you would like something from the restaurant just ask! "

"Overall their services were good. Property as such was very good including location where the hotel restaurant was just besides the fort, however the approachability was a bit of an issue. Cabs cannot reach the hotel door."

"Train was delayed six hours. Arrived at midnight. Friendly welcome. Couldn't be more helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Food available though it's a bit of a mystery where and when. Just ask. Rooftop terrace has a nice view of the Fort and the railway station. Train noise will be an issue for some. It's a 24 hour operation."

"Gorgeous property with a palace, surrounding beautiful grounds and a huge lake. There are too many features to list. The highlight of the trip was the abundant wildlife in the property grounds. We saw peacocks, owlets, gray langurs and many others. We stayed at the retail suite in the palace and it was a wonderful experience. "5 star service in a 3 star hotel Look no further. Book this hotel! The negative reviews do not reflect in any way the experience that is offered by the new management. The staff really made the magic happened for us, they were thoughtful, kind and went above our expectations. The rooms are well decorated and super clean, the roof terrace is one of a kind and the small size of the hotel makes it feel like you are at home. If you are confortable with the noise and action of the old city (windows are not sound proofed, but that was not a problem at all for us - you’re in India after all), this is a perfect mix of good location, relatively affordable price and high end service. We would go back in a heartbeat!"

"Excellent staff with great kindness from beginning to the end ! At reception Rajni was so professional and helped us plan our days and guided us through out. We could not see a single mood swings ! Wow 👌 Chef “Santos” prepared our dinner with excellent taste! He was very particular to ask if we wanted something else or we would like to have our half board differently prepared. He was genuinely open minded to satisfy us ! Sushma from Darjeeling working as waitress was just a wow ! She was sooo professional and at the same time very private with without crossing her profession! This girl will go very far in her career! The waiter (do not remember his name unfortunately but he was from Varanasi was sooo helpful and nice to us. His boy like cuteness made us fall for this guy. He totally went out of his way to help us out ! The only thing we were disappointed with was the water system was very poor and needs huge maintenance. We complained every day and they fixed it temporary but after a couple of hours same problems. Another we were not satisfied with is the poor WiFi why I couldn’t work as planned. Even the staff had issues with poor WiFi that much so they hardly were able to charge our credit cards without trying over and over again. "

"This property is right in the market area and yet quiet and calm. A variety of birds fly around the roof during breakfast with fort as a backdrop and violet temple in the foreground— kinda dreamy. We were in the temple room with old paintings on one wall. I think the dust rolling in from the street is a constant. Very convenient for shopping and getting tuktuk."
